The most used area in our house is our dining table. It’s where meals happen, homework gets done, laundry is sorted, and projects unfold. We’ve made several dining tables over the years and it’s a honor to know that family, friends, and even strangers will sit around these center pieces and create special bonds over the years.
This dining table stands at 80″ long, 36″ wide, and 30″ tall. It’s the perfect size to seat 6-8 people and it would be great for bench seats as well. It’s made from Spalted Oak that adds unique character. The table top edges are chamfered and “broken” (hand sanded to avoid sharp edges and corners), which coordinates nicely with the modern taper of the legs.
While photographing the glamour shots in our quaint home, the wife was already rethinking her own dining table. But, like most pieces, it could not stay. We delivered and setup this beauty in the client’s home and it looks stunning with her deep teal velvet dining chairs!
