Oak Dining + Pub Tables for South Point Grocery in Downtown Memphis

posted in: Uncategorized | 0

This was a huge but fun project! Downtown Memphis was in dire need of a grocery store! We lived down there for ten years and it was always challenging to shop for food. The design of these tables was intended to look rustic and natural and at request of the designer, they wanted everything to be as local as possible. The wood was sourced from Mississippi and the steel work was done by our favorite metal worker in Arkansas. The materials we used were inspired by what a farmer or countryman might have lying around use to build these. Overall, we loved how they had a modern rustic look to them. The simple design allows them to be modular and functional with a pop!

The two 72″x36″ tables are on casters that can be locked and joined to make one table or separated to make two distinct sitting spaces.
Two large tables are locked into places to create one large dining table.
Two sets of 100″x18″ and 85″x18″ pub-height tables make a great place to sit and enjoy a drink or lunch!
These two tables comfortably fit 12 when they are locked together.
